Pollution of rivers in Ukraine has caused concern among neighboring countries.

The environmental situation in Ukraine has concerned neighboring countries, in particular the pollution of the Dniester and Dnieper rivers.

This was discussed in the program on the Youtube channel "And was that even possible?". Host Viktor Rula noted that back in the summer of 2020, Hungarian President János Áder appealed to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with a demand to resolve the issue of Dniester pollution. However, since then, in fact, 18 more pollutants have been added to the Dniester basin. And to the Dnieper basin – 21 types of garbage. The presence of heavy metals was recorded everywhere (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the news).

In addition, the host reminded about air pollution in Ukraine. In particular, that Kyiv has once again entered the ranking of cities with the dirtiest air.

"Perhaps soon the president will have to initiate not only large-scale road construction, but also large-scale construction of an air duct from the Carpathian forests, if they still remain? Or introduce a tax on clean air. But that's a joke. Please, don't," Rula noted.
