This was reported by the Minister of Environmental Protection Roman Abramovsky to RBC-Ukraine. According to him, due to the increase in temperature, there is a threat of an increase in the number of natural disasters: floods in the Carpathians, the transformation of the steppes of the southern region into deserts.
He noted that over the past 30 years, the temperature in Ukraine has increased by 1.2 degrees Celsius.
