World Ecolabel Day in Ukraine
2 years ago, the UN officially announced this date to draw public attention to the contribution that certified goods make to the sustainable development of countries.
Ecolabelling assesses the entire life cycle of products - from "raw material production to disposal". In fact, the eco-label means that the product is safe not only for human health but also for the environment.
National ecolabels are united in the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN). Since 2004, Ukraine has been represented in the international register by the "green crane", which confirms that the product has passed environmental certification according to the requirements of the international standard ISO 14024.
By choosing products with ecological labeling, you:
- receive a high-quality and health-safe product;
- can be sure that the "eco-friendliness" declared by the manufacturer is true;
- use a product that causes minimal harm to the environment;
- increase your level of environmental culture;
- invest in eco-technologies and encourage businesses to reduce the burden on nature.
