Attention, business entities!
On September 17, 2020, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 14, 2020, No. 824 "On Amendments to Annexes 2 and 3 to the Procedure for Submitting Documentation for an Environmental Impact Assessment Conclusion and Financing of Environmental Impact Assessment" came into force, which can be found at the following link: https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/824-2020-%D0%BF#Text
Thus, in accordance with paragraph 2-1 of Article 17 "Final and Transitional Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On Environmental Impact Assessment", the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced amendments to Annexes 2 and 3 to the Procedure for Submitting Documentation for an Environmental Impact Assessment Conclusion and Financing of Environmental Impact Assessment, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 13, 2017, No. 1026.
In the following wording:
1. Paragraph 12 of Annex 2 to the Procedure shall be supplemented with an абзац of the following content:
"Temporarily, for the period of validity and within the territory of the quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease (COVID-19) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in Ukraine, until its complete cancellation and within 30 days from the date of cancellation of the quarantine, public hearings are not held and are not scheduled for dates falling within this period, which is stated in the announcement of the start of public discussion of the environmental impact assessment report."
2. Paragraph 5 of Annex 3 to the Procedure shall be supplemented after the third paragraph with a new paragraph of the following content:
"Temporarily, for the period of validity and within the territory of the quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease (COVID-19) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in Ukraine, until its complete cancellation and within 30 days from the date of cancellation of the quarantine, public hearings are not held and are not scheduled for dates falling within this period."
We emphasize that the Notification of planned activities subject to environmental impact assessment and the Announcement of the start of public discussion of the environmental impact assessment report must be drawn up in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 14, 2020, No. 824.
