The President expects that all major environmental laws will be adopted in Ukraine by the end of the year.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the current generation is responsible for the environmental situation in the country, so it is important to adopt a number of laws on environmental protection in Ukraine. The Head of State said this during a conversation with media representatives within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Ecology".
The President noted that the modern generation is responsible for environmental pollution: rivers, drinking water, air. Therefore, it is necessary to work towards forming a new attitude of Ukrainian citizens towards the environment and their land.
"We need to adopt a few more important environmental laws. Despite the lobbying of large industry, we will definitely vote for them. They are basically ready, next is work in committees and voting in the Verkhovna Rada. I believe that in 2021 all major environmental laws will be voted on," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
