You can report environmental violations from your smartphone
The State Environmental Inspectorate has launched the Save Eco Bot chatbot, which allows you to report environmental violations in a few minutes directly from your smartphone.
Andriy Malyovany, head of the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine, announced this on his Facebook page.
"If you witnessed deforestation, discharge of industrial wastewater into a river, or found an unauthorized landfill, you can submit an appeal through the Save Eco Bot chatbot without leaving the scene of the violation," the environmentalist writes.
According to Andriy Malyovany, such a complaint will be sent to the State Environmental Inspectorate and will be the basis for an unscheduled inspection. Based on its results, the inspection will calculate the damage from illegal activities, violators will be fined and given instructions to eliminate violations.
