A new ecological laboratory opens in Odesa: modern research for business and the community

In May 2025, a modern environmental laboratory of LLC "Ecomanagement Group" will start operating in Odesa region — unique for the southern region of Ukraine. Its activities will be aimed at comprehensive environmental research, supporting businesses in complying with environmental legislation, and providing services to the public.

The laboratory is opening on the basis of its own premises in the urban-type settlement of Khlibodarske and is already equipped with modern analytical equipment, including:
- spectrophotocolorimeter;
- gas chromatograph;
- atomic absorption spectrometer;
- several types of gas analyzers for monitoring pollutants;
- equipment for analyzing soils, water, wastewater, and bottom sediments;
- devices for measuring noise and vibration;
- equipment for testing vehicle exhaust gases.

Main areas of laboratory activity:
- air quality control — in settlements, at the boundary of sanitary protection zones, at enterprises;
- measurement of emissions from stationary sources of pollution;
- assessment of the effectiveness of gas cleaning equipment;
- measurement of noise and vibration levels;
- testing of vehicle exhaust;
- laboratory analysis of soils, natural and wastewater, bottom sediments;
- research and identification of industrial and household waste, including hazardous waste.

On-site measurement services are provided thanks to a mobile laboratory equipped with appropriate transport. The laboratory works with both legal entities and individuals. This is a real tool for ensuring environmental control, transparency of enterprise activities, and environmental protection.

"Our goal is to provide clients not just with analytical data, but with ready-made solutions. We understand the needs of businesses, territorial communities, and individuals, so we offer a flexible approach, speed, accuracy, and explanation of results," says laboratory director Viktoria Kovalenko.

Potential clients include enterprises with mandatory environmental reporting, developers, farmers, carriers, well owners, and others. The laboratory is ready to support communities in developing waste management plans, environmental passports of territories, and mapping environmental risks.
